My PiPrinter is using a RaspberryPi to catch the data coming from a PC's parallel printer port. When incoming data is detected, it is translated into a xml text format which can be read by openoffice. The xml file is openend in openoffice and sent over Wifi to the configured network printer.

There are several radio streaming add-ons available for Kodi. If the network connection gets interrupted while a radio stream is playing, the music is interrupted and sometimes it's unable to continue. I've written a simple add-on that checks every 15 seconds if a radio stream is still playing. If not it will restart the radio stream.

If something else then a continous stream is playing (like a movie, or mp3 file), the add-on does nothing. When the video or audio playlist/queue is finished, the previous radio stream will be started after 45 seconds. This way kodi will keep playing audio until the end of time.
